We had a great lunch experience at Colette. We took the lunch menu and the quality was really fine. Wine was also quiet good. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were there with our 2,5 yo son and they provided a high chair and some books/colors to draw. We felt very welcomed! Highly recommended ?
Great food. Very friendly and fast service. Nice location. Prices high but not excessive. You can go here. I had the oysters as a starter and the tuna steak. Both very tasty. I'll be back
The ambience is very nice, the service prompt and nice, the food great. The meat dish was a bit better than the fish dish in the lunch menu, the artichoke sauces a bit boring, but all in all really very tasty.
Unfortunately from A-Z average and arbitrary. Service, food all irrelevant. Only the prices reflect the name Raue. The ambience is nice therefore 3 stars.
I think 1 hour waiting time for lunch is too long. The bouillabaisse was way too salty. So salty that it burned in your mouth and unfortunately you could hardly taste anything else. Doesn't have much in common with the original recipe from Tim Raue's own cookbook. I wonder how Tim Raue, whom I like and appreciate very much, can allow that. Seems to me as if he only gave his name to the brasserie.
Went here for lunch and it was delicious. Good service, well decorated and great food :)
A great location for a more chic - but in a casual atmosphere - to eat out.
Super warm service and great food, thank you!
Very nice ambience, very nice and competent staff, incredibly delicious food.
Location very appealing. I can tell you more as the Brasserie had lunch break. It is granted to you.
I was there on 8/8/20 and was disappointed. My steak, which I ordered medium rare, was tough and almost through, which I also criticized. They wanted to explain to me that entrecôte is always very fatty and stringy, which I am actually used to differently. But I was offered a new steak. The waitresses couldn't explain the dishes to you and my Aperol Sprizz was too watery for me, I know that better from other restaurants. However, I have to say that in the end they gave us a discount on the bill without asking for it, that was nice. All in all, I was not very satisfied as you had to wait a long time and the staff was not very attentive. A highlight, however, were the fries with the 32 euro steak.
We had girls' get-together, reserved for a long time and we were really happy. The weather was fantastic, we sat on the terrace and could really enjoy the food. Everything was well arranged, delicious taste coordinated. I had pulp with a calf's head, but the combination was really good. The service was perfect too. We will definitely come back.
Very good
Reservation preferred, although I came at opening time without one and some others too after me and we all got tables. Asked for a English menu but was told there’s none, then I highlighted that the bread plate already had breadcrumbs on it, and suddenly the server came with an English menu. Food was good, German French fusion it seems. I ordered a ‘Suckling Pig’ that turned out to be a pork knuckle that tastes like duck confit. The pork fell off the bone and it’s skin was crispy. I would have preferred the dish to be sweeter (I.e. more sweet mustard) but I’m not complaining. Great meal but service can be improved, hence the 4*.
Perfect: a nice restaurant with a great terrace, excellent, very friendly and attentive service and wonderful dishes. For starters we had ganele marocain (fantastic), sardines with brioche (great), main course: pulpo with calf's head (sensational), bresse chicken with parsley and pea (top), dessert: tart citron with yuzu ice cream and mousse au chocolat with mocha , Toffee and cardamom ice cream (both absolutely kneel down) with a perfectly fitting wine recommendation. Really what more could you want ? we are more than satisfied!
Beautiful premises, super cool terrace on a hot day. Friendly waitresses. Value for money at lunchtime really excellent. Appetizer almond avocado very fine, surprising. Pulpo very tender, veal head sauce almost brilliant .... Open wines very clean and correct in price. Lemon chicken crispy and with a tasty twist .... This is good cuisine. Point.
Very nice location, delicious food and an outstanding service. We would love to come back ?
Too bad, expected more. Service was very nice and great service. The food was not tasty. The tempura batter was totally over-salted and said good afternoon hours later. Nothing of fine cuisine - just greasy - could have gone to a fast food store - would very likely have been much better. Very disappointing.
Rude and unprofessional service. The food was okay, miles away from what you would expect from the namesake. They didn't even get french fries properly. Poor service, mediocre food at expensive prices. Too bad, when we visited a year ago it was still a great address.
For us a wonderful evening ? and delicious ?
Kitchen perfect, beautiful setting, knowledgeable staff. limited menu but original and delicious dishes. Are back ....
When looking for a really good restaurant in Konstanz... go and book a table here! Food is delicious and exquisite... has a French touch... staff is very friendly... wine selection is great... and you can enjoy life in Konstanz while sitting on a lovely terrace. You will not regret it having lunch or dinner here!
Horrible cannot begin to describe my experience, i would give 0 starts if possible I arrived with my fiancé for a lunch, we both chose from the midday menu, she chose an entre and a main dish and I chose a main dish and dessert, We asked to drink, white wine from the open bottles and sparkling water at room temperature, For my main dish I ask the chicken but asked if it is possible to remove the speck as I am JEWISH and we do not eat pork! If it is not possible please change it, and then I would take the veal dish. After very long wait (too long, only 2 tables were there), my main dish came (I was told it was the veal) with my fiancés entre, her dish should have come much earlier before mine. And still no drinks…. We reminded the waiter about the drinks, he brought the water but it was still and very cold… we reminded him again… The next round was not better, at one point we asked for the bill from another waitress because we got tired of these 2, She served us the bill, which was higher than expected as we took the menu, we went over it when she informed me to my shock that I had the PORK dish! Then they only removed the price of the pork and gave us the bill again acting like we are not right to be horrified by their incompetence! We paid the remain bill and left as we saw there is no one to talk to there not sure how did they end in the michelen guide
A lovely treat!
Beautiful evening in uncomplicated ambience! We will definitely be back!
Good brasserie reasonably priced. Very affordable fixed lunch menu if you want
Very good brasserie, nice service and good food ! Should stop
We went to Brasserie Colette for lunch. The service was very good and the restaurant is very nicely decorated. For starters we got the scallops which we really well prepared and we enjoyed them a lot. For the main I got the veal cheeks. The meat was wonderfully cooked and was really tender. It comes on a waffle and with the sauce the food really goes well together. My wife had the coq au vin which I tested and it was also really good and was served with fantastic mash potatoes. For dessert we had a brownie and a crème brulé which were the perfect end to lunch. While lunch was a little bit expensive it was worth the money. We will go back again for sure.
Great food to reasonable prices
A very nice brasserie with good food. Noteworthy is the beef tartar which was really exceptionally well prepared. The deer backs were very sparing with the sauce. But the cheese plate was very generous. The desserts are for just under 10 € too expensive. The bottle of water for 7 € is covered. The service was friendly, but lacked attention. Overall, highly recommended.
Great atmosphere and great food. A must for lovers of French cuisine. Many good wines in the open. The first but certainly not the last time!
Nice and classy
Great food, Great service.
Excellent food combined with top service.
We had a fabulous lunch at Colette--I highly recommend. My parents were in town and we took my two small children (4 and 1.5 years old) for a delicious meal after wandering around down by the lake. I was happy to find that they had high chairs available; the staff was great and took our kids' order early. There were lots of options for all of us--the adventurous eaters and pomme-frites crowd alike. It's rare to enjoy a sophisticated meal somewhere that my children are also welcome, so this was a perfect fit for us. I had the prix-fixe meal and wasn't disappointed--nor was my daughter, who was happy to share my dessert!
